WHY WE EXIST
The Beginning
In 2023, aged 26, Matt was diagnosed with Pancreatitis (since undiagnosed but that's a story for another time). Adjusting to sober life, Matt stumbled into the curious world of functional - novel products and ingredients that support physical and mental wellbeing. But there was a problem. So much choice. No single place to explore, learn and find what would work for him. He joined forces with co-founders Ash and Lewis who had both been researching the D2C wellness space.
FUNC was born.
